DNC specializes in Production Engineering.  We transform the initial design drawings into a 3D model, also known as a 'Product Model'. We work out details and solve potential problems before they develop.

We then extract the Product Model data in the form of 'Assembly Drawings' and 'Nest Tapes.' The assembly drawings show various views of the model so that the shipbuilders can see what the sections are to look like and how to build them. The nest tapes generate numerical cutting information so that the individual parts of the ship can be cut by a computer-controlled cutting machine (CNC Lofting).

Our production process greatly reduces man-hours, meaning faster delivery & reduced costs. In turn, this leads to happy customers!

We also provide an excellent internet-based tracking system for customers to view and upload project information. Customers can monitor production progress, material information, drawings, etc. This convenience requires no special software, as it is provided by DNC's Microsoft SharePoint Services and may be accessed through your local internet browser.
